User Reviews

The POP Android app shows solid hardware promise (amazing camera) and printing capabilities when it works, but is overwhelmed by stability problems: frequent crashes, firmware/update loops, connectivity/printing failures, device compatibility issues, and limited support.

Pros

Camera hardware is highly regarded; reviewers love the POP camera and call it amazing.
Printing from the phone is a core feature and can work when the app is functioning.
Some reviews indicate the app used to work well in the past, suggesting potential if issues are fixed.

Cons

App crashes frequently and often won’t stay open or won’t launch at all.
Firmware update prompts/loops that block usage or show no actionable update.
Connectivity and printing failures: struggles to connect to the camera or print from the phone, sometimes connects but prints fail.
Device compatibility and support gaps: reports of incompatibility with Pixel/Samsung and limited customer support.
Other recurring issues like firewall messages, cache prompts, and general degradation after updates.

After moving several times I finally found my camera again and I was super excited to use it only for it to not be able to. Print pictures from my phone anymore. It keeps crashing, no matter how many times i've reset and reinstall the app and i'm so upset 😭

The app does not work. I know this camera has been out for a long time but I just bought one brand new and no matter what I do this app will not connect to my phone. as far as the camera goes I do love it but I was hoping to print from my phone. I've done everything possible. when I try to connect it and it's connected to pop on my phone, it says there's no internet because now the internet is the pop. very disappointed
