Play Tap is a fast color focus challenge for quick phone sessions. Each round shows a color word in a different ink color. Tap the INK color, not the word. Play Tap offers clear visuals, instant feedback, and a simple scoring system for timed rounds.

🎯 How Play Tap Works

See a large color name: RED, BLUE, GREEN, YELLOW, PURPLE, or ORANGE in ink that does not match the word. BLUE might appear in orange ink. Ignore the letters and select the color you see. Four answer buttons appear in a two-by-two grid, each name shown in its matching hue. Tap the ink color to score points and move to the next round after a short pause.

⏱️ 60-Second Timed Sessions

Each run in Play Tap lasts 60 seconds. The HUD shows score, round number, and countdown. A timer bar at the bottom shrinks as time passes visually. When time ends, Play Tap shows your results. Ideal for short breaks, commutes or a quick color challenge.

📊 Score, Rounds, and Accuracy

Play Tap tracks each session. Correct taps add 10 points. Wrong choices subtract 5 points, minimum zero. The HUD updates after every answer. The results screen shows the final score, correct out of total, accuracy percentage, and your saved personal record. Play Tap stores your highest score on your device and displays it on the menu and results screen.

🌈 Six Colors, Endless Combinations

Play Tap includes red, blue, green, yellow, purple, and orange. Each round randomly pairs a word with a different ink color. Options shuffle each round: one correct ink color and three distractors. Word and ink always differ, so you focus on color, not reading. Play Tap creates variety through random pairings and shuffled buttons.

Play Tap responds to every tap at once. Correct answers flash green and highlight your button. Wrong answers flash red, mark your choice, and reveal the correct button before the next round. A brief pause between rounds keeps the 60-second session readable. Large touch targets and bold text suit mobile screens.

🏠 Main Menu and Results

The menu in Play Tap shows the rule: tap the ink color, not the word. Your saved personal record appears before you press Play. After each session, view stats, tap Play Again for another 60-second run, or Main Menu for your updated record. Three screens — menu, game, and results — keep navigation simple.

Play Tap tests how fast your brain reads color versus language. Word and ink mismatch creates interference during timed rounds.
