The HP Poly Studio Mobile Android app is plagued by instability and connectivity problems. Most reviews cite crashes, device discovery failures, and login bugs as the core pain points. Localization and branding confusion (Mandarin prompts, HP vs Poly branding) add frustration, while audio lag and inconsistent performance across devices further degrade the experience. A handful note brief improvements after updates, especially with Teams compatibility, but reliability remains inconsistent for the majority of users.

Pros

Some users report that after updates, the headset works with MS Teams again.
When the app recognizes the headset, it can be controlled and used successfully.
With the right sequence (open the app before Bluetooth pairing), the device can connect and function occasionally.

this is worthless. I had 2 Legends. Both of them the microphone quit working so I used it to listen to music but could only get that to work on one. I tried to enable audio using the windows app (but it would not install) so I tried this app and it still will not install.

Once again, HP proves to be a horrible company. They discontinued the BackBeat FIT series after the merger, and apparently got rid of the BackBeat app too. This new app does not work with those earphones. So, good job giving me no options to control my earphone options anymore.
