Planner La Folia

The La Folia™ Planner was created for musicians who want to take their studies seriously. Developed by teacher and professional violinist Álvaro Benfica, the app combines real classroom experience with tools designed for everyday practice.

Study Tab

Organize your routine with timed study sessions, divided into blocks of focus and breaks to respect your pace and avoid burnout. Set a daily practice goal and track your progress. At the end of each session, record a reflection on what was worked on — difficulties, advances, technical details, or reminders for next time.

Group your sessions into thematic collections (e.g., "Repertoire," "Technique," "Scales") and track the total time dedicated to study per week, month, or personalized period. For more complete tracking, the study journal allows you to document reflections and notes from each practice, creating a personal record of your evolution as a musician.

My Scores

Import your PDFs and sheet music images directly into the app. Organize into folders, create setlists for concerts and rehearsals in any order you want, and navigate between songs with a touch or Bluetooth pedal. Use page markers, cut, and rotate to adapt each score to your needs.

Tools Tab

Metronome with rotary dial, Italian names for tempos, and sound that continues playing while you navigate the app. High-precision chromatic tuner with real-time analysis via microphone, octave display, and A reference at 415, 440, or 442 Hz. Polyphonic digital tuning fork with a complete chromatic scale from C3 to C7, ideal for checking tuning notes and intervals. All audio processing is local; nothing is recorded or transmitted.

Dictionary Tab

Consult musical terms with clear explanations and practical examples, organized by category, with search and favorites, all directly in the app, without needing to resort to external sources during your studies.

Calendar Tab

A calendar designed for the musician's routine. Schedule classes, rehearsals, concerts, and shows with customizable categories (name, color, and icon), configurable reminders, and the option to duplicate events. Your study sessions can be synchronized with your calendar, combining planning and practice into a single workflow.

General Features

The app works in Portuguese and English, with language switching available in the settings. Your data can be copied to a backup file saved directly on your device, allowing you to restore your history, notes, and settings at any time, without needing an internet connection.

The main features of Planner La Folia™ operate completely offline, with your data stored only on your device.

Pro Mode

Pro Mode enhances the experience with more collections, categories, unlimited sheet music folders and setlists, a study journal, advanced study time periods, full backup (including sheet music), pitch-perfect polyphony, personalized reminders, and ad-free browsing. Essential organizational and practice features remain available in the free version. Monthly and annual plans are available, with payment securely processed through Google Play.
