IntelliVue GuardianSoftware

Guardian is a smartphone app with which you can manage patient details and connected devices within an IntelliVue GuardianSoftware (IGS) client/server setup.

Manage, add, and assign connected devices
With the Guardian app, you can add compatible measurement devices by using the free-text search, scanning the devices’ barcodes, or scanning their NFC tags. You can assign these measurement devices to patients, as well as remove the assignments.

Edit patient details
Similar to the IGS desktop client, the Guardian app displays the patient details, including their caregiver, bed, name, and EWS score. You can edit these details directly with the Guardian app.

Admit, discharge, and transfer patients
With the Guardian app, you can admit, discharge, and transfer patients. You can admit patients in a multitude of ways: you can enter the patient’s details manually, you can use the search, you can scan their barcode, or you can use the NFC reader function.
