Bring one OpenRouter key and pick from 300+ models, including Claude, GPT, Gemini, Llama, DeepSeek, and dozens of free open-weight options. Or run a model locally with Ollama, no key needed. Ask why the robot is stuck or what the battery level is, and Scry calls the right ROS 2 tools, parses the result, and explains it in plain English.

Safe by default

Every write operation, including publishing to topics, calling services, and sending action goals, requires explicit on-screen confirmation. The AI proposes and you approve. No surprises.

How it works

Run the open-source scry-connect server on your robot with a single pip install, then pair your phone with a QR code. The AI runs on your chosen provider, and robot data never leaves your local network.

Scry is DDS and middleware agnostic. It works with Fast-DDS, CycloneDDS, Zenoh, and Connext, and supports ROS 2 Humble, Iron, Jazzy, and Rolling.
