Mapas de España is a free offline map viewer ideal for hiking, cycling, running, or skiing. It uses maps from the National Geographic Institute (IGN) and other public sources, including cadastral data, to help you explore routes, record or reuse tracks, plan excursions with maps, navigation, and guided tours, all without an internet connection.

Key features include GPS positioning with no mobile coverage, offline map mode, track tracing and export in GPX, KML, and KMZ formats, support for WMS and WMTS services, and coordinates, heading, speed, and altitude display. The app is multilingual and based on OruxMaps, built as a GIS tool using public map catalogs from Spanish authorities.

Last update November 2024 very friendly (even for dummies, sorry for the joke!). Routes managing easiest than years ago. Many features are amazing. I know the effort there is behind a pretty UI. I've using this app for 14 years and every update worth it. Thanks for your job Team!.

This is very useful application for DANA 2024 accessibility mapping and decision making. Hope all local police members use it to map, share and publish current situation at Valencia.
