Orchard Circuit

Orchard Circuit - a pipe puzzle played on a five by five wooden board where scrambled segments have to form one continuous line from a green apple on one edge to a red apple on the opposite side. A tap turns a single segment a quarter turn clockwise, and straight pipes, elbows and T-shaped joints decide which way the line can travel, while the segments already fed from the green apple are drawn brighter than the rest, so the connected part is visible at every step. Each turn costs one move from the counter above the board, and when the moves run out the attempt is over: the summary panel shows the score of that attempt and the best result kept on the device. A finished level adds points for the level itself, for every move left unused and for each fruit that ended up on the completed line, after which a new board is laid out with a longer route and the level counter goes up. The level, the moves left and the score sit on wooden plates above the board, the pause button freezes the board and opens a panel with continue, restart and menu buttons, and leaving to the menu closes the attempt so the next start begins from level one. Settings hold a vibration switch, a three-step pace switch across easy, normal and hard that changes how many spare moves every level is given, and the best result with a reset button beside it. The results screen lists the top eight scores in descending order, the guide screen explains the rules in a few lines, and settings and results are saved on the device from one launch to the next.
