• Export recognized text as a text file

Listen with natural local voices

• Start narration from the exact position you choose
• Adjust the reading speed
• Use expressive narration for richer cadence
• Enable dialogue mode to alternate local voices for quoted speakers
• Control play, pause and stop from the background notification and lock screen
• Detect the document language automatically or select it yourself

Private by design

Document rendering, OCR, language detection and speech synthesis happen locally. OpenVoice PDF contains no ads, account or developer-operated tracking. Google ML Kit may send encrypted device, app, performance and usage diagnostics to Google; document content is not sent.

Supertonic 3 supports 31 languages with five female and five male voices. The model is downloaded after you accept its terms and choose a voice, and then works offline. Your document text is never uploaded.

OpenVoice PDF is designed for focused reading: the page stays visible, spoken text stays clean, and your documents stay on your device.
