Overview

Features & Capabilities

NotiPeek helps you save notifications received on your phone as a private, on-device history, ensuring you don't lose those fleetingly glanced-at messages.

After granting notification access, NotiPeek silently saves every incoming notification—content, sender, app, and time—into your on-device history, making it easily accessible when scrolling back. All data remains on your phone.

Why would anyone need it?

• Recover accidentally swiped notifications.

• Maintain a record of messages from various apps (including messaging apps).

• Read messages directly from notifications without opening the app.

Privacy First

• Apps do not request network permissions—data technically cannot leave your device.

• No servers, no cloud, no accounts, no analytics, no ads, no third-party SDKs.

• Notifications exist only in a private on-device database. They can be cleared at any time (single app or all); uninstalling the app deletes all notifications.

How it Works

NotiPeek registers a NotificationListenerService. After you enable "Notification Access" for it in your system settings, Android will give the app a copy of each notification to store on the device. Reading notifications in this way is a system-level action and will not open the source chat room.

Important Notes (Inherent limitations of the mechanism, not a bug):

• Only captures notifications that arrive "after authorization"—previous notifications are not captured.

• Stickers, images, and voice messages usually only display placeholder text.

• For Xiaomi/MIUI and some other brands, you need to separately enable "Auto-start" + "Unlimited Battery" for the listener to survive in the background; the app will have a guide card that will directly lead you to those settings.

Please Use Responsibly

Please use NotiPeek on your own device and for your own notifications.
