Notifile: Notification History

Notifile keeps a private history of every notification you get, so you can read it again after you swipe it away, even when the sender deletes the message.

Your notification history, filed away
• Every notification is saved as it arrives: the text, the app, the time, and when and how it was removed.
• Browse by day and by app, or search everything at once. Filter by app, date, starred records or pictures.
• Pictures that notifications carry, and the senders' photos, are kept too.
• Star what matters, copy or share a record, or jump back to the app it came from.

Deleted messages stay readable
Chats are rebuilt from their notifications into conversations. When someone deletes a message after it reached your notifications, Notifile keeps its copy and stamps it RECOVERED. A message that silently disappears from a chat is stamped UNSENT.
Notifile can only keep what arrives as a notification: a muted chat, or a chat you have open when the message comes in, leaves nothing to save.

Nothing leaves your phone
• No Internet permission. Android itself keeps Notifile offline, and the About screen shows the proof, read live from Android.
• No ads, no trackers, no account, no analytics.
• Your history is never copied to the cloud. Export it when you choose: a spreadsheet (CSV), plain text, or a full backup file to restore on a new phone.

You decide what gets filed
• Switch any app off, or every app at once.
• Have an app's notifications removed from the status bar as soon as they're filed.
• Pause filing whenever you like. Keep history forever, or for 7, 30, 90 or 365 days. Starred records are always kept.
