New chapters are released every Thursday at 9 a.m. You read them, then wait for the following week. Several books progress simultaneously, each at its own pace.

You open the app, choose a book, and read. Nooks remembers where you left off. You're notified when the next chapter is released.

No reading time to catch up on, no piles of books accumulating. One read per week, at a set time.

Why episodic reading?

The novel was written this way throughout the nineteenth century. Dumas, Balzac, and Dickens published their works chapter by chapter in newspapers, to readers eagerly awaiting the next installment. Nooks revives this way of reading.

Nooks is a publishing house. We select the texts, prepare them, and publish them.
