🚗 DashCam turns the phone you already own into a dashcam.

Mount it facing the road and tap start. Recording carries on with the screen off, and keeps going when you switch to Maps or answer a call.

🔁 IT NEVER RUNS OUT OF SPACE
Footage is written in short segments inside a storage budget you set. Once the budget is full, the oldest clip makes room for the newest — so you can leave it running every day without ever clearing anything out. Prefer it to stop at the limit instead? Turn loop recording off in Settings.

DashCam holds the space you allocate from the moment you set it, so no other app can take it out from under a drive in progress.

🛡 THE CLIP YOU NEED IS THE ONE THAT GETS KEPT
Incident clips are held back from the loop and are never deleted — not to make room, not under storage pressure, not ever.

• A knock is picked up by the G-sensor and saved as an incident without you touching anything
• The previous clip is kept too — the run-up is usually what shows what happened
• Tap Incident to protect the drive you are on, or tap it before you start to protect the whole of the next one
• Incidents are filtered into their own list, so the clip you need is never buried

📍 STAMPED INTO THE PICTURE
Date, time, speed and GPS coordinates are burned into the recorded video itself, not just drawn on the preview. Choose which of them appear, which edge of the frame they sit on, and whether speed reads in km/h or mph.

A note on permissions: the camera and microphone are used only while a recording is running, in a foreground service you can see in the notification shade. Location is used only to stamp speed and coordinates onto the video, and only while recording — DashCam never collects location in the background.
