DavRoll

Auto photo backup to your NAS — no subscription, no ads, no company servers. DavRoll is a free personal app that automatically backs up your photos in the background and, whenever you want, also backs up your contacts (as vCard) and PDF documents from folders you choose. Your backups go only to storage you own or manage, and you can browse and restore them anytime.

If the auto-upload app that came with your NAS let you down, DavRoll takes over your photo auto-upload: background sync uploads new photos on its own, failed uploads are retried automatically, and a Wi-Fi-only option keeps your mobile data untouched.

• WebDAV and S3 uploads count as successful only after passing SHA-256 checksum verification
• Optionally encrypt new WebDAV and S3 photo backups on your device
• Optional lossless JPEG XL recompression for WebDAV and S3 JPEG backups — the original JPEG is rebuilt on restore

Restore Center
• Browse, search, and sort your backups in each configured destination
• Restore selected files or supported folders sequentially
• Share or delete multiple restored files
• Save supported images back to your gallery without re-encoding
• Conflict-safe naming that never overwrites existing local files

Privacy first
• Credentials stay in your device's secure storage
• WebDAV and S3 connections are HTTPS-only
• Backups are uploaded only to the storage you configure — no developer server
