TN Rural Daily water supply

The TN Rural Daily Water Supply Chrome extension is designed specifically for the Rural Development and Panchayat Raj Department, Government of Tamil Nadu. It enables Village Panchayat Secretaries and Self Help Group (SHG) members to securely log in and capture daily water supply data for over 80,000 habitations across the state.

Users can enter detailed information about water sources such as Overhead Tanks (OHT), Wells, Rivers, and Ground Level Reservoirs (GLR), including their locations and photographs. The extension supports an online-only mode and facilitates daily uploads of water supply times and source names. Registration and approval processes ensure authorized access, with multiple reporting capabilities at the Block, District, and State levels to efficiently monitor water supply to Tamil Nadu villages.
