User reviews consistently report poor app reliability. The dashcam itself is praised for video quality, but the MyNextbase Connect app struggles with unstable connections, crashes, and heavy permission requests. Accessing and transferring footage is cumbersome, and some features may not function as expected in practice. Recent reviews

This app is useless you try to connect to dashcam in the car and it keeps trying to shutdown, so engine has to stay on. Also when you sometimes do get in it takes so long to load the library and then it continues to say failed playback I need to enable something on the dashcam, which I do and it still does not work. If I needed this videos for an emergency this would be terrible. I would say its better on pc, but thats not great either to use as well as the dashcam turns off loads.
