HiLight Plus: Pixel 11 series

Your Pixel's rear light, your rules.

Google's built-in HiLight only glows for calls from favourites. HiLight Plus takes over the rear light ring and lets you decide exactly when it lights up, in what colour, and with what pattern.

CALLS
• Give each contact their own colour and pattern, so you know who is calling from across the room
• Separate styles for other contacts and for unknown or withheld numbers
• Works for phone calls and for app calls from WhatsApp, Teams, Google Meet and more

NOTIFICATIONS
• Per-app rules: a colour and pattern for each app you care about
• Per-contact message rules, so a text from one person looks different from everyone else's
• Auto-colour that picks up the app's own icon colour
• Choose how several alerts share the ring: show the latest, cycle through them, or split the ring into coloured segments
• Set how long a notification stays lit

BATTERY
• Charging gauge that fills the ring as your phone charges, with a choice of three styles
• Low-battery warning with heartbeat, breathe or solid patterns at the level you choose
• Auto-off timer once fully charged

TEN PATTERNS
Solid, Breathe, Pulse, Wave, Comet, Orbit, Beacon, Ripple, Sparkle and Rainbow. Preview any of them on the real hardware while you edit a rule.

CONDITIONS
• Only light when the phone is face down, so it never glows while you are using it
• Respect Do Not Disturb
• Quiet hours with a start and end time
• Override any of these per rule when something is important enough

SETUP
HiLight Plus needs Shizuku to reach the rear light. No root required. Shizuku is a free app from the Play Store; guided onboarding walks you through connecting it, and the app checks that the stock HiLight feature is turned off so the two never fight over the ring.

PRIVACY
Everything runs on your phone. No accounts, no analytics, no ads. Contacts and notifications are read locally to match your rules and never leave the device. The only network activity is the Google Play purchase.

PRICING
Try everything free for 7 days. After that, a single one-off purchase unlocks HiLight Plus for good. No subscription.

Requires a Google Pixel 11 series and Shizuku.
