Notification light for any app on the Pixel 11 Pro HiLight ring. Per contact too
AuraGlow is a notification light for the Pixel 11 Pro, Pro XL and Pro Fold. It turns the HiLight LED ring around your camera flash into a real notification light for any app, with a color and a pattern per app and a color per contact.
Miss the notification LED your old phone had? Out of the box HiLight only lights for favourite callers and Gemini. With AuraGlow every alert lights the ring in the app's own color, so you know what is waiting with the phone face down: a call, a message, a delivery, a reminder.

• One color per app, matched to the app's icon or taken from your wallpaper
• Pulse pattern, plus a brightness slider for how bright the ring gets
• Per-app control: turn the light on or off for any app
• Respects Do Not Disturb, pauses in Battery Saver, and stops below a battery level you pick
• Pause for an hour whenever you want the ring dark
• Built for the hardware: every light stays short by design, and the ring rests half of every ten minutes. Nothing can override these limits

• Only when face down, so the ring lights only where you will see it

• Every Pro feature added later, included
📱 PIXEL 11 PRO, PRO XL AND PRO FOLD
AuraGlow runs on the three phones that have the HiLight ring, on Android 17. The standard Pixel 11 has no ring.
🔧 SET UP IN A MINUTE, NO ROOT AND NO COMPUTER
Android only lets a phone's own developer tools reach the HiLight ring, so AuraGlow borrows them. Three switches, once: unlock Developer options, turn on Wireless debugging, then pair with the code Android shows you. Nothing else to install. Wireless debugging only starts the light: keep USB debugging on and switch wireless off. Once after each restart.
Already rooted, or already running Shizuku? AuraGlow can use either instead, with nothing to pair. Both are optional shortcuts, never a requirement.
🎨 MAKE IT YOURS
Give WhatsApp a green light, Gmail a red one, and the person who matters their own color. While you choose, the ring on the back of your phone shows it live. When more than one thing wants the ring, the app shows you the order and marks what is winning right now.
🔒 PRIVATE AND LIGHTWEIGHT
No ads, no tracking, no account. AuraGlow reads notifications only to decide which light to show. Nothing is stored, nothing is uploaded. It asks for notification access, plus permission to post its own notifications for pairing. Nothing else.
💡 WHY AURAGLOW?
HiLight is the first real notification LED on a Pixel in years, and Google only uses it for favourite callers and Gemini. AuraGlow is the notification light app that opens it up. AuraGlow gives it to every app and every contact, keeps the ring safe with limits nothing can override, and sets up without a computer. From the developer of AuraDisplay, the on-screen notification light for phones without HiLight.
***
This app uses the NotificationListenerService to detect notifications and light the HiLight ring. No notification content is stored or transmitted. The renderer runs through Wireless debugging, root or Shizuku because only privileged components may control the ring. It has no network access and receives colors and timings only.
