Towet Rush

Find out what your soil actually is, then work out what to do about it. Shake a soil
sample with water in a jar, let it settle, and photograph it — you drag ✋ four measuring
lines onto your own photo 📸 and the sand, silt and clay percentages are read straight off
it. No guessing, no lab, no subscription.

Those three numbers 🔢 land on the USDA texture triangle, where a draggable puck shows
exactly which of the twelve texture classes your bed falls into and how close it sits to
the boundary. Pick a target 🎯 class and a live vector shows what it would take to get
there — in real kilograms of coarse sand, topsoil, clay and compost for your bed's own
volume and depth, converted into bag counts and cubic metres. When a plan 🗺️ would need more
imported material than the bed itself weighs, it says so plainly and points you to a
raised bed instead.

From the same measurement everything else follows: field capacity and wilting point,
plant-available water in millimetres and litres, a watering interval in days for your
crop, a timed percolation test that turns water-level 🧗 readings into an infiltration rate
and drainage class, and a core-sample calculator 🧮 giving bulk density, porosity and a
verdict against the root-limiting threshold for your texture. A field ribbon test is
built in for when you have no jar, and every reading is kept in a photo 📸 log 📝 per bed.

For gardeners, growers, allotment holders and students. It includes a reference library 📚 of
all twelve texture classes with their real published properties, forty-six plants matched
against your bed's texture and drainage with the reason ❓ for each verdict, and six short
lessons with quizzes on why ❓ texture decides so much. Everything works offline 📴, in metric
or imperial, and every figure is presented honestly as an estimate from your own
measurements — nothing is sensed by the phone 📱.
