Mom Jong: American Mahjong

Whose turn is it, honey?

A little mahjong. A lot of good company. Mom Jong brings American Mahjong (Mah Jongg) to your phone with friendly practice hints, beautiful tiles and a seat for your friends.

Start with a relaxed practice hand, keep your game sharp against the computer, or invite your people to an online table. Free, with no ads or in-app purchases.

NEW TO MAHJONG? YOU’VE GOT THIS.
A short, friendly tutorial introduces the tiles, jokers, your card and the rhythm of a turn. Practice hints suggest hands to work toward and tiles to toss. Turn them off whenever you’re ready.

YOUR TABLE, YOUR PEOPLE
Create an online table and send an invite link. Play together from different places, each on your own phone. Join as a guest without an email or password, or choose Google sign-in. A private recovery code can help you return to your account.

PLAY THE CARD YOU KNOW
A made-up practice card is included so you can start right away. Add the card you own as text to play its hands. At an online table, everyone adds their own copy and the game starts when the cards match. Uploaded cards are encrypted and aren’t shown to other players.

MORE OF YOUR CARD-TABLE RULES
Play Charleston, optional second passes, blind passes and negotiated courtesy passes. Make quint calls and exchange jokers. Mom Jong plays a hand from the deal to “Mahj!”; payout scoring is not included.

MAKE IT FEEL LIKE YOU
Pick Ivory & Jade, Butterscotch Bakelite or Midnight & Brass. Enjoy pictorial tiles, felt tables, rounded controls and a paper score pad for your regular group.

PLAY AT YOUR PACE
Practice and computer games work offline, with no account needed. Online hands reconnect smoothly, and optional notifications can let you know when a friend deals.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
No ads, no advertising tracking and no in-app purchases. Delete your Mom Jong account inside the app.

Mom Jong does not include the official yearly card. It is an independent app, not affiliated with or endorsed by the National Mah Jongg League.
