ACCESSIBILITY SERVICE

Focus Shield uses the Android Accessibility Service to support its core app-blocking functionality.

When app blocking is enabled, the Accessibility Service helps Focus Shield detect when a selected distracting app is opened. Focus Shield can then display its blocking screen to help prevent access to that app during the configured focus session.

The Accessibility Service is used only for Focus Shield's distraction-blocking functionality. It is not used for advertising or marketing purposes.

Focus Shield does not use the Accessibility Service to read or collect passwords, messages, typed text, or other screen content.

Use of the Accessibility Service is optional and requires the user to explicitly enable the service through Android's Accessibility settings.
