KDS

MiMony Kitchen Display turns any Android tablet into a kitchen screen. Orders
arrive from your tills, your QR menus and your self-ordering kiosks the moment
they are rung in, and stay on the pass until the food is handed over.

Built for the line, not the office: large type readable at arm's length, one-tap
actions that work with wet hands, and a board that keeps working when the Wi-Fi
does not.


THE BOARD

• Live tickets, updated the instant an order changes — no pull-to-refresh, no stale pass
• Filter by All, New, Preparing, Ready or Cancelled, with a live count on each
• Cards view for whole tickets, or All-day view to batch the same dish across every order
• Wall view puts several kitchen screens side by side on one display
• Sort newest or oldest first, search by order number, filter by who rang the order in
• Combo deals show every dish they contain, with each dish's own add-ons beneath it
• Dine-in, Takeaway, QR and Kiosk orders are labelled in the terms a kitchen uses


TIMING THAT MATCHES THE KITCHEN

• Each dish is judged against its own preparation time, not one blanket number
• Late tickets are marked with colour and a warning icon, so lateness reads without relying on colour alone
• Overdue thresholds are set centrally and apply to every screen at once


ACTIONS

• Start and Ready per ticket or per line
• Recall a ticket back to Preparing after a mis-tap
• Mark items unavailable (86), report a delay, or flag a remake
• Hide cancelled tickets, with a retention window you choose
• Mark served or request the bill on dine-in orders, where staff permissions allow


PRINTING

• Print kitchen chits to network, Bluetooth or USB thermal printers
• Uses the printer assigned to the screen or the station in Back Office, and falls back to any printer configured on the device
• Bilingual chits print correctly, including Arabic


IT KEEPS WORKING OFFLINE

• Tickets stay on screen behind an offline banner instead of vanishing
• Every action taken during an outage is queued and sent when the connection returns
• Reconnecting fetches only what changed, so a busy line recovers in seconds


SET UP ONCE

• Enter your restaurant code and the app configures itself
• Screens are attached from inside the app, then remembered
• Sound, volume, new-order popup, grouping, clock format and languages are stored per screen, so a reinstall or a swapped tablet comes back as itself


ENGLISH, ARABIC AND URDU

Full right-to-left support. Dish names follow the app language by default, or you
can show English names on an Arabic screen — or both at once, for matching a
ticket against a shelf label.


REQUIREMENTS

This app is for existing MiMony customers. You will need an account
with your restaurant and a restaurant code from your administrator. It is
designed for tablets, mounted or on a shelf, in landscape or portrait.
