TUNER
• A needle meter like an old amplifier's, with a backlit face, or a simple bar

• Strum down, or down and up, or choose a picking pattern, and the tab is written for you
• Make your own picking patterns by tapping the strings in order
• Pick from the chords of your key, any chord at all (including slash chords such as D/F#), or your saved chords
• Choose the exact shape of each chord, anywhere on the neck
• Play the song with a line moving through the tab, with a metronome and a count-in if you want them
• Capo, key, tempo and time signature (4/4, 3/4, 2/4); copy a bar, or drag bars into a new order
• Turn the phone sideways to follow the song as one long line while it plays

SHARE
• Export a song as a letter-size PDF or a picture, laid out like a printed song sheet
• Send the song itself as a Strummit file to a friend who has Strummit

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
The microphone is listened to on the phone to find the note, and never recorded. Your chords and songs stay on your phone. Strummit has no account and does not use the internet except for the Google Play purchase.
