Mahila Patanjali Yog Samiti

Mahila Patanjali Yog Samiti is an important and influential unit of Patanjali Yogpeeth, which is specially committed to inspire women to adopt yoga, pranayama and healthy lifestyle. This Samiti works under the holy guidance of Param Pujya Swami Ramdev Ji Maharaj and Ayurveda Shiromani Acharya Balkrishna Ji Maharaj, who are dedicated to the promotion of Sanatan culture and Ayurveda. The vision of these great men has made this Samiti not only a medium for the welfare of women, but has also provided a strong foundation for the upliftment of the overall society. The main objective of Mahila Patanjali Yoga Samiti is to provide physical, mental, and spiritual health to women, so that they can make their lives balanced and positive. Along with this, the Samiti makes them aware of the use of indigenous products and herbs, which promotes Ayurvedic lifestyle and encourages sensitivity towards the environment.
One of the main objectives of the Samiti is to train women yoga instructors in every village and organize free yoga classes. This initiative is a revolutionary step towards making women self-reliant and healthy in rural areas. Under this, an organization of Mahila Patanjali Yoga Samiti is being set up in every village, which is becoming a center of awareness and training at the local level. Yogasana, Pranayama, and meditation are taught in these classes, which help women to lead a stress-free life and increase immunity. This effort not only improves individual health, but also unites the community and increases social harmony.
Apart from this, the Samiti conducts Bal-Sanskar camps in districts and villages to make the future generation of India cultured. In these camps, children are connected to ethics, cultural values, and Indian traditions, which give them a strong character and positive thinking. This initiative is an effort to connect the coming generation with the values of Sanatan culture while protecting them from Western influences. Similarly, special de-addiction programmes are organised to save families ruined by drug addiction and bring about a positive change in society. In these programmes, awareness is spread about the ill-effects of drug addiction and guidance is provided for rehabilitation.
The sensitivity of the Samiti is also visible towards widows and orphans. Special assistance programmes are run for widows, in which they are given economic and social support, so that they can move forward in their lives with confidence and dignity. Similarly, by organising yoga and sanskar camps in orphanages, children are given the gift of health, education, and cultural values. These camps make the mind of children calm and positive along with their physical development.
All these initiatives are based on the principle of "Sarva Jan Sukhay, Sarva Jan Hitay" of Sanatan culture, which gives priority to the welfare of all humanity. This Samiti is not only empowering women, but is also contributing to making the society healthy, cultured, and prosperous.
