We bought the Fender by Loog Telecaster. The guitar itself is great. The app looks nice but functions awfully. The tuner is the only thing that reliably works. I assumed that being partnered with a company like Fender that things would have been tested and polished. I wish I'd have tried it first instead of jumping into it with my 6 year old. He was excited to earn points by practicing but it never awards points. His excitement quickly faded and he was back to wanting to watch cartoons.

I was hoping that this app would provide a more kid friendly experience, but it falls short of that, unfortunately. Visually it is there, and at first my 6 year old was super excited to learn, but the long tutorial videos don't hold a kids interest and she got frustrated and hasn't picked it up since. I encourage the devs to look at the experience provided by the "Teach your monster to read" app as that is an ideal format for teaching something technical (like guitar) to young kids.
