Features & Capabilities

Steady is a private sobriety and habit tracker. No sign-up, no ads, and no subscription, ever.

Your data never leaves your phone unless you choose to back it up, and even then it's encrypted before it goes anywhere. There's no account to create, no server holding your history, and nothing to sell.

WHAT'S FREE
• Sobriety clock: see exactly how long you've been steady, down to the second
• Money saved: set what the habit used to cost and watch the total grow
• Daily check-in: one tap to mark that you stayed steady today
• Journal: note your mood, a craving and what set it off, whenever you like
• Toolkit for hard moments: a note to yourself, your reasons, a breathing guide, people to call and helplines
• App lock with your fingerprint or face, and your PIN as a backup
• Milestone reminders at 7, 14, 30, 60, 90, 180, and 365 days
• Optional daily check-in reminder at the time you choose
• Light and dark mode
• Export everything as a plain-text file, or delete it all, anytime

PREMIUM: ONE PAYMENT, YOURS FOREVER
• Never lose your streak: automatic, encrypted backup to your own Google Drive
• Track more than one habit at once
• Full history: current and longest streak, milestones, and a month-by-month calendar with your mood
• Insights: mood and craving trends, when cravings hit hardest, and which triggers come up most
• Premium accent colors

Premium is a single one-time purchase. No subscription, no renewals, no surprise charges.

PRIVATE BY DESIGN
• No account or login
• No ads and no third-party analytics in the app
• Notifications are scheduled on your phone; no push server
• With app lock on, notifications don't name your habit
• Backups are encrypted on your device and stored in your own cloud account, so we can't read them

Steady is a self-tracking tool. It isn't medical advice, a crisis service or a substitute for professional help. If you're struggling, please reach out to a healthcare provider or a local support line. In the US, you can call or text 988 any time.
