Switchboard: Last Line

The city is failing one connection at a time.

You operate a fictional emergency communications switchboard in a city facing a cascading infrastructure crisis. Route calls, manage limited circuits, verify conflicting reports, reroute around failures, repair critical connections, and decide which problems need attention first.

SWITCHBOARD: LAST LINE is a portrait-first systemic strategy game built around decisions, information, and resource management — not reflex combat.

Every circuit is scarce. Every report can change as new information arrives. A trusted source can be wrong, while a delayed report can become useless. Acting quickly on false information can create new problems elsewhere.

Your decisions persist between shifts. The condition of different districts, network reliability, communications capacity, and public confidence can affect what happens next.

Operator tools and board specializations let you approach the same crisis in different ways: improve verification, increase communication throughput, or build a more resilient network.

Features:

• Tactile switchboard routing with scarce circuits
• Information verification, source history, and conflicting reports
• Live network topology, congestion, power failures, rerouting, and repairs
• Persistent consequences between shifts
• Multiple operator specializations and capability tools
• Handcrafted systemic crisis scenarios
• Fully offline core gameplay with local save and resume
• Configurable sound, ambience, haptics, and Reduce Motion
• No ads, no in-app purchases, and no account required

SWITCHBOARD: LAST LINE is a fictional game. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or representative of any government, public authority, emergency service, utility provider, transit agency, or other public institution.

The game does not provide real-world government information, government services, emergency services, or official public information. All organizations, incidents, communications, and scenarios depicted in the game are fictional.

There is no combat roster or character grind. The challenge is reading a changing city, deciding what to trust, and keeping essential communication alive when every decision has a cost.
