SnugVault: Photo & File Vault

Keep the photos, ID scans and documents you'd rather nobody saw encrypted on your phone. SnugVault doesn't just hide files — it encrypts their contents the moment you add them.

■ Real encryption
· Your password is turned into a key with Argon2id; files are stored with authenticated encryption (AES-GCM)
· File names, folder structure and thumbnails are encrypted too
· Your password is never stored anywhere — if you forget it, not even the developer can open the vault

■ Easy in, easy out
· Tap + and pick photos & videos, files or a whole folder — encrypted right away
· Choose whether to delete the originals afterwards (or keep them)
· View photos inside the app, export back to normal files when you need them
· Create folders, rename, move and search inside the vault

■ Locking
· Locks automatically when you leave the app or turn the screen off (delay is up to you)
· Optional fingerprint/face unlock (a shortcut, not a replacement for the password)
· Repeated wrong passwords mean longer waits
· Contents are hidden from the recent-apps screen and screenshots

■ No account, no server
· Use it right away without signing up; vault files never leave your phone
· Moving phones? Create an encrypted backup file and restore it on the new phone with the same password
· No broad photo/file permission — only what you pick is imported

■ Hiding other apps
SnugVault doesn't lock other apps itself. Instead it shows how to turn on the private space / secure folder features built into your phone.

■ Ads
No ads on the vault or password screens. A small banner appears only at the bottom of the Settings and Guide screens.

Please remember: if you forget your password, there is no way to open the vault. Keep a backup file of anything important.
