StripVision turns your iPhone camera into a colorimetric test-strip reader.

Photograph a dipped test strip alongside the manufacturer's color ramp. The app uses an on-device AI vision model to extract RGB from each ramp patch and the strip pad, then applies the Cheung 2004 polynomial color correction to strip out camera and lighting bias. The result is interpolated onto the calibrated ppm curve and cross-checked against an independent classical color-science engine. Five quality gates (AI confidence, ΔE94, engine ⋈ AI agreement, ramp monotonicity, strip-in-range) verify the reading before it shows up.

PRIVACY-FIRST
• All measurement history lives only on your device — no account, no cloud sync (unless you enable it).
• Photos pass briefly through our edge proxy for AI analysis and are never stored anywhere.
• Card details stay entirely with Apple; we never see them.

WHAT'S DIFFERENT
• Engine + AI cross-check: two independent algorithms compute the same reading. If they disagree, you don't see a result. Trust layer single-method readers can't provide.
• Honest about limits: 3 chemicals are fully lab-validated to ±5%; the other 6 are in calibration. The app explicitly labels each as "validated" or "placeholder" so you know what you're working with.
• Auto-capture: a steady-hold ring fills as you keep the phone still. Shutter fires automatically when stable.

NOT A MEDICAL DEVICE
StripVision is for aquarium, pool, hobby, and informational use. It is not FDA / CE approved and must not be used for clinical diagnosis, treatment, drinking-water safety compliance, OSHA gas exposure monitoring, or any regulatory reporting. For those, use accredited laboratory methods.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage cancellation via Apple ID Settings → Subscriptions. StripVision never accesses your payment details. Standard Apple refund policy applies via "Report a Problem" on the App Store.
