2026-08-18	De*****	when i accidentally auto-update the app, all of the annotations and bookmarks from the books just disappeared. not only that, the books' reading progress also disappeared. don't even tell me to sync the app or repair my account, i already did that and it did nothing to my account. thank you so much kobo for ruining my experience :) edit: after further testing, the dictionary was deleted from my device even though i have it downloaded since day one. when i tried to redownload it didn't work.

I would normally give this app 5 stars, I absolutely cannot imagine not using this app for all my ebook and audible needs. however, the update today is horrible! only 3 hours of all my books are downloading, you cannot navigate the chapters, ive Uninstaller and reinstall the app; still junk.
