Knowing Me

KnowingMe keeps everything that matters about a person receiving support in one place, so the people around them can provide better support from day one.

Good support starts with knowing the person: how they like to communicate, what helps when they’re upset, which medications they take and when, how to assist them safely, and what goals they’re working towards. Too often, this knowledge lives in one support worker’s head or is scattered across paper files, notebooks and old emails. When someone new joins the team, or a person moves between services, important information can be lost and needs to be relearned.

KnowingMe gives that information a secure home that belongs to the person, not to any one provider or service.

With KnowingMe, you can build a profile that captures the whole picture:

About Them: hobbies, goals, family, preferences, behaviours, education and communication styles
Health: medical conditions, medications, self-care needs, medical aids and transfer methods
Day-to-Day Support: calendars, routines, activity preferences and checklists
People: important contacts and the wider support team
Documents: care plans, NDIS paperwork, consent forms and ID cards, including bulk uploads for larger records
Reporting: shift notes, incident reports and journal entries
Wellbeing: quick mood check-ins

Photos, voice notes and short video clips can also be added throughout the app, making it easier to capture information that’s better shown or spoken than written down.

KnowingMe is designed for participants, families, guardians and support workers alike.

Participants can own and manage their own profile independently. Parents and guardians can manage profiles on behalf of someone they care for. Support workers only see the sections they’ve been given access to, with permissions managed section by section so private information stays private.

Security is built in from the start. Signing in is protected with a personal login, with optional fingerprint or face unlock for faster access. Information is encrypted while travelling to and from the app, and users can request removal of their data at any time.
