HOW IT WORKS

KickIt detects when a blocked app or website comes to the foreground and shows a block screen. Soft blocks let you continue for the current session if you truly need to; hard blocks hold firm so you can step away.

HOW KICKIT USES ACCESSIBILITY

KickIt uses Android's AccessibilityService API to detect which app, website, or in-app feature is currently in the foreground. This is what lets KickIt show a block screen the moment you open something you've chosen to block — a distracting app, a website or keyword, or a specific feature like Reels or Shorts — and enforce your daily time limits.

KickIt does not use the AccessibilityService to read, collect, store, or share your personal or sensitive information, and no accessibility data ever leaves your device.
