Just Drafts - No Friction

Your next thought. Your whole project.
Simple drafts at heart. Rich notes when you need them.

Just Drafts started as a quiet place to capture a thought before it disappears. It grew into a comprehensive note-taking workspace for writing, checklists, code, PDFs, images, audio recordings, video files and more.

Capture a sentence in seconds—or bring an entire project together. Start simple. Add what you need. Keep everything connected.

✍️ Capture the thought—and everything around it

• Write and format text, from quick reminders to detailed notes.
• Create named checklists with connected items and subitems.
• Save code snippets with syntax colors, auto-indent and search.
• Add images, PDFs, audio, video files and other attachments.
• Record an audio idea without leaving your draft.
• Combine different block types in one note.

📋 Give your ideas room to grow

Build your note from individual blocks, then rearrange them as your ideas develop. Drag toward the top or bottom to scroll through longer drafts.

Select multiple blocks to move them into another active draft or delete them together. Keep a short note simple, or organize a longer one into clear sections.

Titles can be generated from your opening words or renamed whenever you want. Search your drafts, pin important notes, archive finished work and recover deleted notes from Trash.

📄 Read PDFs. Sign a copy. Keep the original.

Read PDFs inside your draft. Place, resize or rotate a signature, then save the signed PDF as a separate attachment. Your original stays unchanged.

Browse attached and inline files together. Export copies to a destination you choose without changing the originals in your note.

More space. Fewer distractions.

Open a whole draft or an individual block in full screen. Choose your font and text size, including monospace options. Switch between Write and Use modes to suit what you are doing.

The code editor saves and edits snippets; it does not execute code.

🎨 Make the space your own

Choose a coordinated theme, from crisp white and true AMOLED black to colorful dark and light palettes.

Try every theme and custom background, block, accent and text colors during your full-feature trial. Optional block borders help define your layout.

Keep the interface simple—or make it feel distinctly yours.

🔒 Protect your work

Lock a whole draft or individual blocks to prevent accidental edits. Master Draft Lock overrides individual controls while preserving their saved lock settings.

Drafts are stored locally and remain usable offline. The trial includes optional app protection, encrypted storage and backups, and up to ten saved versions per draft.

☁️ Back up on your terms

Connect Google Drive or Dropbox for optional backup and restore, or create local backups.

Cloud connections are not required to write or use your drafts. Backup and restore are not live collaboration or automatic conflict-free synchronization.

Try everything. Then pay once.

Try all current features free for seven days—including every theme, custom colors, backup and restore, version history, encryption and app protection.

Continuing after the trial requires a one-time lifetime purchase. The introductory US price is $14.95; Google Play shows your local price before purchase.

The trial does not automatically charge you, and your drafts are not deleted when it ends.

No ads. No recurring subscription.

A simple place for a thought—with room for everything it becomes.
