Rivercast puts official NOAA river data at your fingertips with interactive maps and hydrographs. Whether you’re a boater, paddler, property owner, or just curious about your local waterways, Rivercast makes it easy to see current river levels, forecasts, and trends. Highlights include official flood warnings, river stage height in feet, flow rate in CFS when available, color-coded status (normal, rising, or flooding), current observations and recent history, and interactive gauges and graphs. Premium users can set custom push alerts when a river reaches a chosen level. The app also includes NOAA forecasts (when available), an interactive map of nearby gauges, search by waterway name, state, or NOAA station ID, and zoomable charts with adjustable reference lines and a favorites list.

Rivercast is powered by NOAA observation and forecast data and requires an internet connection. I have used a different app for 10+ years, but I found this app a couple months ago because the other one has become so unreliable. I love this one. Connects to updated NOAA National Water Prediction Service (NWPS) with 5-day look ahead. Can seach for river gauges on map, waterway name, station ID, or State. Users can configure 4 levels of personalized permanent reference values for water levels to display on graph such as flood stage levels for property owners, or Too High-High-Med-Low levels for activities such as fishing or kayaking. Can set notifications for official flood stage actionable levels or multiple personalized levels.
