Redline is a dedicated snagging tool that helps you log and track construction defects during new home walkthroughs. It presents your entire checklist on a beautifully rendered architect's blueprint, unrolled across a wooden drafting table. You can quickly capture a snag by selecting the New tab and filling in the defect title, the room it's in, and its category as Structural, Cosmetic, or Safety. A red drafting pencil button saves the entry with a satisfying pencil-scratch sound, and the snag immediately appears as a colored pushpin stuck into the blueprint. The Snags tab organizes all open items as a scrollable map of pinned locations, each with a handwritten label and an arrow pointing to its room. Completed snags move to the Resolved tab, where they remain visible as faded, crossed-out pins so you can review what has been addressed. On the Dashboard, large white stencil numbers stamped into the blueprint's title block show your total open snags and the count added today, giving you an instant read on your progress. A prominent quick-action button on the Dashboard lets you jump directly to the New form for rapid defect logging during a fast-paced inspection. Every snag you create is stored securely on your device, with no cloud accounts or internet connection required, so your data remains private and accessible anytime. The four bottom tabs are shaped like miniature drafting tools—compass, triangle ruler, T-square, and pencil—resting on a wooden ledge, with the active tool bathed in a warm architect's lamp glow. Redline keeps your walkthrough focused and frustration-free by using physical pushpin markers instead of generic lists, making it feel like you're actually marking up a set of construction drawings.
