Inkwell: Private Journal

A private journal that stays yours.

Inkwell keeps your entries and photos on your phone — full stop. No account, no cloud, no analytics, nothing to leak. Open the app and write; that's the whole deal.

ON YOUR PHONE, FULL STOP
Everything lives only on this device. Inkwell makes no network calls. Your words can't leak from a server that doesn't exist.

WRITE THE WAY YOU LIKE
• A clean page, a daily prompt if you want one, and a mood for the day
• Attach photos or sketch directly into an entry
• Titles optional, streaks and word counts if you care, invisible if you don't
• Five paper-and-ink themes — quiet, bookish, easy on the eyes, light and dark

FIND ANYTHING AGAIN
• Full-text search across your whole journal
• Calendar view — every day you wrote, at a glance
• Star the entries that matter

LOCKED, IF YOU WANT
Lock Inkwell with your fingerprint or face so only you can open it.

YOURS TO TAKE ANYWHERE
Export your whole journal — photos included — to a single file, any time. Backups and export are free forever and never gated.

NO SUBSCRIPTION
Writing is free forever. One optional one-time unlock adds extras (like multiple photos per entry). Your data is never held hostage.

If you've wanted a journal that treats your inner life like it's nobody else's business, this is the one.
