Tesvo: Screen Mirror for Tesla

Tesvo puts your Android phone's screen on your Tesla's built-in browser, so you can see and use your phone on the car's big display while parked or riding as a passenger.

Tesvo works over your phone's own WiFi hotspot: your car connects to your phone, you open one address in the car's browser, and your phone's screen appears live. No cables, no account, no cloud service in between.

HOW IT WORKS UNDER THE HOOD
To make that memorable address possible, Tesvo uses Android's VpnService purely for local routing over your own hotspot, giving your phone a fixed local address your car's browser can reach. There's no remote VPN server, no traffic ever leaves your hotspot, and everything is encrypted end to end.

AT A GLANCE, WITHOUT LEAVING THE MIRROR
A status bar across the top of the mirror always shows the weather (temperature in °F or °C, your choice, plus high/low, humidity, and wind), your live battery percentage, and the clock. Save My Parking is right there too: one tap saves where you parked, shows the distance back to the car, and opens the spot in Google Maps.

Below the mirror, an auto-advancing info carousel leads with today's weather (including "feels like" temperature) and then rotates through your calendar events for the day, each with its time and details. Virtual meetings are flagged automatically with a Zoom or Teams badge; anything with a physical address shows a location pin instead.

SCRATCH PAD
Sketch freehand or type a quick note right on the car's screen, then save it as a photo to your phone's gallery. Drawing has its own Light or Dark canvas toggle (Dark by default), whichever is easier on your eyes.

HONEST LIMITS (please read before buying)
Tesvo is local-network only. Your phone must be the WiFi hotspot your car connects to. This is not a remote or cellular "view from anywhere" product.
- Mirroring stops if your phone's screen fully locks. This is an Android platform restriction on screen capture, not a bug. Tesvo keeps the screen dim-but-on to work around it, which uses a little extra battery.
- The higher-quality H.264 mode depends on your browser's capabilities. If your browser can't play it, the MJPEG mode always works as a reliable fallback.
- Touch control is tap-only. There are no drag or swipe gestures, and it needs a one-time Accessibility permission that you grant yourself in Android Settings.
- A crash reporter is built in: if something goes wrong, one tap shares a local log so the problem can be looked at.

For your safety, use Tesvo while parked or as a passenger. Don't interact with the mirrored screen while driving.
