User Reviews

Users appreciate aRDP for its stability, good performance, and versatility in connecting to multiple platforms including Windows and Linux. The app is user-friendly and offers useful customization options like resolution settings and SSH tunneling. However, some common issues include jerky mouse movement on touchscreens, poor multi-monitor support, inconvenient screen rotation behavior, and inadequate handling of remote disconnections. Lack of gateway support and occasional black screen crashes also affect usability. Overall, it is considered a reliable RDP client that could be improved in input responsiveness and multi-display functionality.

  • Good performance and speed, suitable for productive remote work
  • Supports connections to various systems including Windows, Linux, and VirtualBox RDP servers
  • Offers customizable settings such as resolution options and SSH tunneling
  • User-friendly and intuitive interface with convenient connection saving/restoring
Cons
  • Mouse interaction and movement can be jerky or not smooth, especially with touch screen and zoomed view
  • Issues with multi-monitor support; app does not display both monitors or scale correctly
  • Display flipping unexpectedly on wrist units even when locked in landscape mode
  • Delayed or unclear feedback on remote disconnections or connection issues leading to black screens
  • No support for gateway access/option, limiting some advanced connection scenarios
