PAT Test Pro: PAT Testing App

PAT Test Pro is the PAT testing app for Android: PAT testing software with an asset register and a PAT certificate for every PAT test you do on site. Record, sign and send before you leave the building.

Built by iCertifi for electricians, PAT testers, landlord and letting agent compliance contractors, and facilities teams. Made to the IET Code of Practice for In Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment, 5th Edition. The same certificate as PAT Test Pro on iPhone.

AI APPLIANCE SCANNING
Take a photo of an appliance and Appliance Vision identifies it, suggests its class and fuse, checks the lead and plug it can see, and suggests Pass or Fail. You check every answer, enter your tester's readings and make the final decision. Each scan uses one AI token; a scan that fails uses none. 20 free tokens to start, then token packs from Google Play.

EVERY APPLIANCE ON ONE ASSET REGISTER
• Add appliances one at a time or a whole batch at once
• Appliance number, description, location, class, asset ID and fuse
• Formal visual inspection and combined inspection and test intervals
• Earth continuity, insulation, load and earth leakage readings
• Built in RCD trip time and test button for RCD leads and adaptors
• Lead polarity, visual check, Pass or Fail, and repair codes
• Scan the asset barcode, or number the next label automatically
• Photo of each appliance, printed on the photo evidence page
• Choose appliances from a list, or copy and paste one into the next
• Bring in a client's appliance list from a CSV file

PAT TEST LABELS AND QR CODES
• A PAT test label for every appliance: appliance ID, test date, tested by and result
• Print the retest date on the label instead, if your customers prefer it
• A QR code on every label carrying the appliance's details
• Print the label, or save it or just its QR code to your photos
• A QR code generator for your own codes

RETESTS THAT COME BACK TO YOU
• See which appliances are due soon or overdue on the dashboard
• A reminder 30 days before a client's appliances are due
• Add a retest to your calendar
• Customer reminders: switch it on for a report and your customer is emailed before the first appliance is due for retest. You choose your phone number, reply email and how early it goes (subscribers)

LIMITS FROM THE CODE OF PRACTICE
Continuity is judged against 0.1 ohm plus the lead's own resistance, insulation against 1 megohm for Class I and 2 megohms for Class II, earth leakage against 5 mA, and RCDs against 40 ms. An appliance whose class is unknown is treated as Class I.

A PROFESSIONAL PAT CERTIFICATE
• Your company, registration number, test instrument and calibration certificate
• Your logo, your scheme logo and your own certificate colour
• Six certificate designs: Standard, Classic Pad, Clean White, Bold Header, Appliance Cards and Side Column, all in your own colour
• Appliances tested, passed and failed shown at the top
• The full appliance register, with failures in red
• Photo evidence for failed and photographed appliances
• Asset record: the asset register on its own to leave on site
• Signed on screen, and sent by email, WhatsApp or any app, or printed

YOUR PAT TESTING LOG ON EVERY ANDROID PHONE
Turn on sync and your certificates, appliances, photos, clients and business details stay in step on all your Android phones signed in to the same Google account, kept in your own Google account, not on our servers. A full backup is made on the phone first and nothing on it is removed. You can also save a backup file to Google Drive or anywhere you like. A photo is sent to our AI service only when you scan with AI.

SUBSCRIPTION
Create, fill in and preview certificates free. A subscription is needed to send, print and reopen saved certificates for portable appliance testing work. Monthly or annual, through Google Play. Subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them in the Play Store. AI tokens are bought separately and never expire.
