hYYa Encrypted Notes & Sync

Sync your notes on all your devices through your own Google Drive. Every note is encrypted before it leaves your device.

Your notes. Actually private.

A PRIVATE NOTEPAD, DIARY AND JOURNAL
Quick memos, a private diary, a long-running journal: use it as a secure notepad or a vault for anything you would never want someone else to read. Every word is encrypted on your device and opens only for you, and it all works offline, with no internet connection needed for anything but the optional sync and the one-time purchase.

FOR YOUR EYES ONLY
Every note, title and folder name is encrypted on your device, so only you can read them. Even your list of notes stays private until you unlock the app.

NO hYYa ACCOUNT. NO hYYa SERVER. NO TRACKING.
There is nothing to sign up for, and nothing of yours ever reaches us. No ads, no analytics. Your notes go only to your own Google Drive, and only if you switch sync on.

SYNC THROUGH YOUR OWN GOOGLE DRIVE
Your notes and attachments sync through your own Google Drive, and only you can read them. Edits made on two devices are merged. On another phone or tablet, or in the app on iPhone, iPad or Mac, choose "Open My Library from Google Drive" and enter your passphrase.

WRITE IN ANY LANGUAGE
Arabic reads right-to-left and English left-to-right, even in the same note, checklists included.

KEEP IT ALL TOGETHER
Add pictures and files to any note. They stay as private as your words. Pictures show inside the note and PDFs open right in the app.

BRING WHAT YOU ALREADY WROTE
Import from Markdown, plain text, HTML, RTF or an Evernote export, several files at once or a whole folder; imported notes count toward your 2 free notes. Import and export are both free — an app that promises you can always leave cannot charge you for the door.

NOTES THAT LOOK GREAT
Headings, bold, lists, checklists and quotes appear as you type, and anything you export opens in any text editor.

FIND ANYTHING, FAST
Search your titles instantly and every word of your notes in moments, and your notes stay private while you look.

OPENS WITH YOUR FINGERPRINT
Your notes lock when you leave the app, and open with your fingerprint or your device's screen lock. If this device ever loses its key, the passphrase you set opens your notes again.

FREE, AND HONEST ABOUT IT
Keep up to 2 notes free for as long as you like, with sync and every other feature: no clock, no countdown, no trial to expire. Encryption, biometric unlock, import and export are free for everyone and always will be. A single one-time purchase lifts the note limit. It is never a subscription, and nothing you have already written is ever locked, hidden or taken away.

EXPORT WHENEVER YOU LIKE
Every note exports as a plain text file (Markdown) with its attachments beside it, free, into a folder you choose. This app exists to keep your writing portable, so holding it hostage would defeat the point.
