Hoopla earns high marks for its very large, diverse catalog across ebooks, audiobooks, TV shows, movies and music, and for being easy to set up and use with strong library integration. Users repeatedly praise immediate access to many titles, especially audiobooks. The main downsides are a strict monthly borrow limit, a catalog gaps with unavailable titles, and reliability issues (crashes, playback resets, and earbuds pause compatibility), plus TV-show borrowing being one episode at a time.
