Log sets, reps and weight at your gym. Watch your records build up over time.
Heftor is the workout log for people who train at a gym.
Finish a set, open Heftor, type the weight and the reps. That's it. Your session is saved as you go, and every number you enter turns into a history you can actually use — personal records per exercise, monthly totals, and a calendar of the days you showed up.
WHAT YOU RECORD
• Weight and reps, set by set, with an estimated 1RM shown as you type
• Warm-up sets, failed sets, partial reps, assisted reps, resistance bands and drop sets
• Exercises measured by time and distance, or by minutes and seconds — not just weight
• A note per exercise and a note per session, plus up to 5 photos on any session
• Date, start time and end time, entered on a fast numeric keypad
• Whether it was a gym session (and which trainer was with you) or solo practice at your own training location
FASTER THAN A NOTEBOOK
• "Copy last time" fills in your previous session for that exercise in one tap
• "Last +2.5 kg" and "Last +1 rep" buttons, with the weight step you choose per exercise
• Recent notes are offered as one-tap suggestions
• Everything autosaves while you edit — nothing to remember to press
SEE THE PROGRESS
• Summary screen: this month's sessions, total volume, training days and how many personal records you set — each compared with last month, and expandable to a 12-month breakdown
• Per-exercise records: max weight, max reps, max volume and estimated 1RM, with the date each one was achieved
• Full history for every exercise, set by set, with warm-up / failed / drop badges
• A calendar of your month, plus how long it has been since you last trained each muscle group
• Tap an empty day to start logging a session for that date
YOUR PHOTOS
• Attach photos to any session and browse them all in one gallery
• Built-in editor: crop, rotate, 18 filters, and adjustments for brightness, contrast, saturation, warmth, grain and vignette
• Save a photo back to your device whenever you want
SHARE IT, OR KEEP IT
• Generate a share card image of a session — total volume, sets, estimated 1RM — and post it to X, LINE, Threads or Facebook, or send it anywhere through the share sheet
• Or export your entire workout history as a CSV file, emailed to you
MADE TO FIT YOU
• 12 colour themes (dark and light, in orange, blue, green, purple or red, plus plain black and white) and five text sizes
• Japanese and English, or follow your device's language
• Choose the 1RM formula: Epley, Brzycki, Lombardi, Mayhew, O'Conner or Wathan
• kg or lbs label, calendar week start, default session length and start-time rounding
• Add your own exercises, hide the ones you never use, and set a weight step per exercise
THE NAME
Heftor is heft (to lift, and the weight you feel in your hands) plus -or, the ending of mentor and tutor — the one who stays beside you. The character in the icon is Bell, a kettlebell-shaped companion who tags along quietly. Make today's set count.
CONNECTED TO YOUR GYM
Heftor is provided through your gym. The gym curates the exercise list, its trainers appear on your sessions, and staff can record or correct a session on your behalf — it shows up in your history straight away.
BEFORE YOU DOWNLOAD
Heftor requires an account issued by a participating gym. You cannot create a standalone account and use the app on its own: your gym invites you, or opens sign-up for its own members. If your gym does not use Heftor, this app will not have anything to show you. Please check with your gym first.
An internet connection is required.
