GPS Alarm: Wake Me on Arrival

Sleep on the train. We'll wake you.

GPS Alarm is a location alarm that rings when you reach your destination — not at a time you guessed in advance. Set your stop, put your phone away, and rest. Your arrival alarm wakes you before you get there, even with the screen off and the app closed.

Perfect for commuters, night-bus riders, long-distance train travel, and anyone who has ever woken up three stops too late.

⏱️ SMART ETA — ALARMS IN MINUTES, NOT JUST METERS
Most location alarm apps only let you set a distance. GPS Alarm also alerts you a set number of MINUTES before arrival. It smooths your speed over a rolling average, checks that you're actually heading toward your destination, and corrects for real road curves instead of straight-line distance. On a fast train, 500 m of warning is 8 seconds. 5 minutes is 5 minutes.

WORKS OFFLINE
Once your destination is set, tracking runs entirely on your phone's GPS chip. No mobile data, no signal needed. Your travel alarm keeps working in tunnels, in the countryside, and on planes in airplane mode with location on. You only need internet to search for a new address or load fresh map tiles.

BUILT TO ACTUALLY FIRE
A location alarm is worthless if Android kills it while you nap. GPS Alarm runs as a proper foreground service with a reliability watchdog, and guides you through disabling battery optimization in one tap. The alarm takes over your lock screen with full sound and vibration so it genuinely wakes you.

WHO USES A GPS ALARM?
Train and metro commuters who want to nap without missing their stop
Bus and coach passengers on long overnight routes
Travelers arriving somewhere unfamiliar at night
Passengers on road trips who want a heads-up before the turn-off
Hikers and cyclists who want an alert at a waypoint
Anyone who wants a location reminder when they arrive or pass a place

HOW IT WORKS
1. Search for your destination or tap the map
2. Pick how far out — or how many minutes out — you want the alarm
3. Start tracking and put your phone away
4. The alarm wakes you before you arrive

PERMISSIONS, PLAINLY
GPS Alarm needs background location so the alarm can fire while the app is closed or your screen is off — that's the whole point of it. Your location is used only on your device to measure the distance to your destination. It is never uploaded, stored, or sold. Notification access lets us show the live tracking status and the arrival alert.
