SLeD-Sign Language Education

Malaysian Sign Language was created with the establishment of the Malaysian Federation of the Deaf in 1998,
and its use has expanded among deaf leaders and participants. It is based on American Sign Language (ASL),
but the two are considered different languages. There are two common issues related to sign language.
The first one is usually people lack information on how to sign language, it is difficult for sign language
users to communicate with usual people. The second one is, sign language basic dictionaries are not mobile, hard for
people to learn basic sign language. This app can help overcome the problem. SLeD aims to help improve sign language
knowledge and skills in keeping with digital technology in today's society. In conclusion, this application will help to
provide interest for users to learn sign language.
