Sentrio turns an old Android phone into a security camera that runs entirely on your own Wi-Fi. No cloud, no account, no subscription, no ads. Set the phone up, plug in the charger, done.

Premium is a one-time purchase, not a subscription. It is tied to your Google account, not to the device: set up three old phones and you pay once. Devices on a different Google account stay locked. Before that, you can try Sentrio completely free for 3 days.

📱 SECOND PHONE AS VIEWER
Set a second phone to the “Viewer” role: all cameras in one list, with live view, recordings, alerts and settings. It finds the cameras on the Wi-Fi by itself and needs no Premium of its own. The live view goes straight from phone to phone, without any outside server.

Every camera shows an address that you open in a browser on a PC, tablet or phone on the same network: live view and controls for that one camera, with nothing to install.

Motion detection now also notices slow approaches and settles down faster. Set the sensitivity to “Indoors”, “Outdoors” or “Night”; in the dark the camera switches over by itself if you want. “Notify only” raises an alert without recording, the phone stays cooler, as a baby monitor for example. You can also switch the recording mode right on the camera phone.

🗂️ RECORDINGS AND EVENTS
Under “Recordings” the viewer lists the videos and photos of all cameras in one list, with a thumbnail and the storage location. The “Event log” keeps track of when motion or sound was detected, for each camera.

💾 YOUR RECORDINGS STAY WITH YOU
Everything lands on the camera phone first. With Premium, Sentrio automatically uploads finished recordings to your own NAS, over SMB, FTP or SFTP. On motion or sound, the app can send an email with a photo through your SMTP server if you want. In “Shared settings” you set up “Upload & retention” and “Email notifications” once for all cameras that allow it.

Front or back camera, rotation, zoom, tap to focus, recordings up to 4K. Exposure, ISO, white balance and stabilization by hand, plus HDR and night mode. Live view over WebRTC, HTTPS and two-way talk on request.

🔒 PRIVACY
Videos, recordings, live images and alerts never leave your local network. No account, no ads, no tracking libraries. Only to verify the trial period does the app briefly contact a service of ours; with Premium even that contact ends.

💡 That is how an old phone becomes a baby monitor, a pet camera for dog and cat, an entrance watch or an eye on the workshop and garage. As a security camera and Wi-Fi camera it replaces expensive IP camera hardware. Available in 12 languages.

📌 WHAT TO KNOW BEFOREHAND
Camera and viewer must be on the same network; on the go we recommend a VPN connection into your home network instead of a camera on the open internet.

The trial period is a 3-day window starting at the first camera start. It runs on the clock, even while the camera is off; after that the camera needs Premium.

For alerts to arrive reliably, the viewer phone needs an exemption from battery optimization; without it, Android cuts the connection in deep sleep.

The detection does not tell people and animals apart.
