Merge Race Rush

Here's how Merge Race Rush works. You've got a square board – 4x4 to start, maybe 5x5 later – and tiles slide in from the edges. Each tile has a number on it, usually 1, 2, or 3 at first. You can drag any tile into an adjacent empty spot, one step per move. If two tiles with the same number end up next to each other, they merge into one tile that shows their sum – so 2 and 2 become 4, 4 and 4 become 8, and so on.
Now for the twist. A glowing red wall creeps up from the bottom of the board, one row at a time, after every few moves. If any tile touches that wall, it burns up and you lose instantly. So you're not just merging for points – you're also trying to keep your tiles away from that rising danger. Each successful merge pushes the wall back down a little, buying you more breathing room.
Each level gives you a set number of moves – maybe 35 to start. You need to reach a target score before you run out of moves, and you also have to survive the wall's advance. If you hit the score but the wall eats your tiles before the level ends, it still counts as a loss. You've got to manage both.
No clock ticking, so you can think between moves. But the wall doesn't wait forever – it advances after a fixed number of moves, whether you're ready or not. As you progress, the wall climbs faster, the numbers get bigger, and the board shrinks to 4x4 with more tiles crammed in. You also get fewer moves per level.
There are no power‑ups, no bombs, no shuffle buttons. Occasionally a gold tile appears – it counts double for scoring but merges like a normal tile. That's about it. The game forces you to plan several moves ahead, because a bad merge can trap your high numbers near the bottom, right where the wall is coming up. It's tense, fast, and every move matters. 🔥🔢
