Ball Merge Rush

You get a tall grid – maybe 6 wide and 8 high. Balls fall from the top, one at a time, each stamped with a small number (1, 2, or 3 to start). You can slide them left or right before they land, then tap to drop. Once a ball settles, it checks its neighbours – up, down, left, right. If any neighbour shows the same number, they fuse into a single ball with the next number up. Two 1s become a 2, two 2s become a 3, and so on. The new ball might then sit next to another ball of that new number, triggering another merge – a chain reaction that can clear a big chunk of the board.
Every merge adds points, and higher numbers give more. But you only get a certain number of drops per level – maybe 30 to start. You need to hit a target score before you run out. Also, if the board fills up and the next ball can't fit, it's game over. So you're always thinking about space.
No timers, no power‑ups, no special moves. Later levels throw bigger numbers at you earlier, and they give you fewer drops, so you have to be smarter about where you place each ball. Sometimes you deliberately separate balls to save room for later merges. It's all about predicting where the next merge will happen. Simple to pick up, but you'll find yourself staring at the grid for a while before dropping. 🟠
