User Reviews

Reviewers like the watch's core purpose: kids stay off screens while parents can call, text, and locate them. Many report frequent problems, though. Calls often fail to connect, and School mode and Take a Break settings get stuck. The app repeatedly prompts for an update that the Play Store does not show. GPS accuracy is inconsistent, and kids cannot message friends who lack the app or a Gmail account. Some users also object to subscription and payment fees, and they describe customer support and insurance claims as poor.

Pros

Keeps kids off screens while letting parents stay in contact
Parents can approve contacts, so kids can only talk to people on an allowlist
Easy to use, with reliable calling and texting for many users
Simple, minimalist design with useful location features

Cons

Calls often fail to connect or have no audio
The app repeatedly says an update is needed, but the Play Store shows none
School mode and Take a Break settings are buggy and hard to turn off
Location and GPS accuracy is poor for many users
Kids cannot message friends who lack the app or a Gmail account
Customer support is poor, and the insurance claims process is difficult

Calls don't connect most of the time. Why bother if I can't get a call to connect, messages work ok. locate screen is poorly designed - I can't see where I'm in reference are they in front or to left? no clue. worst of all is the service gets stuck in School mode. on weekends or at night. restarting the app doesn't work. disabling school mode doesn't work. just buggy service. not worth it.
