Totality by Big Kid Science

Totality by Big Kid Science is a free, ad-free solar eclipse companion now stewarded by the American Astronomical Society. Built for curious viewers, families, teachers, and travelers, the app uses Xavier Jubier’s eclipse code to deliver interactive maps that show exactly what you’ll see at any location for upcoming total solar eclipses (and reviews of recent ones). Use your phone’s GPS to learn whether an eclipse is visible from your location, find the nearest points of totality, and access navigation tools to plan driving routes to the path of totality when travel is possible.

The Learn section offers safe-viewing guidance, classroom activities, and clear science explanations, while the Shop links to curated books, eclipse glasses, and partner nonprofits. Totality includes an updated user guide, multilingual support (English, Spanish, French, Portuguese), and is provided as a public service with no ads.
