I haven't used my Garmin in a while. it really sucks now. instead of upgrading my device I'm going to switch to another platform soon. I can't easily send a message to someone from my contacts unless they have messenger or I invite them. My explorer app only navigates now. I like having one app that did both

Messenger crashed 2 days in a 5 day hike and said I needed internet to fix. Messenging then switched to Explore, something I'm trying to set up as my default but Messenger seems to have a lock on my phone. Not a very intuitive program. I'm unable to currently text with Explore as it just defaults to Messenger.
